KITOLOD (Laurentia longiflora)
Tanaman liar yang bisa tumbuh di mana saja seperti di selokan, tembok, celah batu ditempat terbuka. Tanaman obat ini berasal dari Hindia Barat, masuk kedalam famili Campanuaceae.
Kitolod di sebut juga korejat, kata orang Jawa Barat suku Sunda, memiliki kandungan kimia seperti alkoloid, saponin, flavonoid dan politerol. Juga memiliki efek anti kanker dan anti radang. Senyama alkoloid adalah lobelin, lobelamin dan isotomin.
